Baquetball has existed since 1891, but its origins are more than 2,000 years old. It started in America, but now there are clubs in more than one hundred countries. It is the most popular sport in the world.
The biggest international Basketball competition is the Woerld Champoionship, which starts in 1928. Men have copeted in the
championshio since in 1932. Basketball also became an Olympic sport in 2000.One of my favourite competitors is Pau Gasol. He was the player of the Lakers!
